The first hour

Right now, before anyone arrives.

  1. Stop the source if it's safe. Close the fixture valve or the main water shutoff.
  2. Stay away from electricity near water. If outlets or cords are wet, don't touch them. Switch off that breaker only if you can reach the panel while standing on dry ground.
  3. Keep away from sewage. Keep kids and pets out, and don't use the drains until it's checked.
  4. Take photos and video of every wet room before you move anything. Your claim starts here.
  5. Call us. We'll walk you through the next step on the phone. 📞 Call (949) 785-3508

How it works

From the first call to the last coat of paint.

  1. Call any hour, or send the form. We get your name, address and what happened, and we flag emergencies right away.
  2. Free inspection. We find where the water went with moisture meters and thermal imaging, including behind walls and under floors, and we photograph everything.
  3. Stop the damage. Water removal, drying equipment, containment for mold or sewage, board-up after a fire.
  4. Documentation for your claim. We give you and your adjuster the photos, moisture readings and a written scope.
  5. Put it back. As a licensed Class B general contractor, we handle the repairs too: drywall, flooring, cabinets, paint.

FAQ

Questions homeowners ask us.

Is the inspection really free?

Yes. We'll come out, find the moisture, and explain what we see at no charge. Free inspections aren't available for properties being sold or about to be sold.

Do you answer at night and on weekends?

Yes, our line is answered 24/7. Tell us if water is still coming in and we'll treat it as an emergency.

Will my insurance cover it?

It depends on your policy and the cause. Sudden events like a burst pipe are often treated differently from slow leaks. We can't decide coverage, but we document the damage thoroughly so your adjuster has what they need.

Do I have to use the contractor my insurance company recommends?

No. You can choose who works on your home. Your insurer may suggest a company, but the choice is yours.

Do you do the repairs, or just the cleanup?

Both. KADE is a licensed general contractor (CSLB #1001994), so we can handle drying, cleanup and the rebuild.

What areas do you serve?
